Yigal Azrouël debuted his eponymous ready-to-wear collection in the fall of 1998. By 2000, he had begun his participation at New York Fashion Week, and in 2004, Azrouël was inducted into the Council of Fashion Designers of America.

In August 2000, Azrouël opened his full service atelier and showroom in New York. Three years later, he opened his first boutique, and in the fall of 2023, moved his flagship to Madison Avenue on the Upper East Side.

Expert construction, draping and top-quality fabrics define the modern and unmistakably feminine silhouette of a Yigal Azrouël design.

Born and raised in Isreal of French-Moroccan descent and an explorer at heart, Azrouël draws inspiration from a host of faraway lands, both metropolitan and remote — their art, culture, architecture and natural landscapes. But above all, he anchors his style in his hometown of New York City.
